What are painted edge cards, and will my design change the edge color?

Painted edge cards are printed on thick 32pt uncoated stock, then the edges are painted in the color you choose. You set up the artwork like any other card, front only or front and back. The edge color is an option you pick when you order, not part of your file.

Your design can slightly change how the edge color looks, mostly with very dark or very light backgrounds near the edges. It is more noticeable when the cards are stacked than when you hold one card.

For the most even look, use a solid background color that works with your edge color.
