How do I set up artwork for raised foil cards?

Raised foil cards need your full-color artwork plus a foil mask file that shows where the foil goes.
- Make the mask the same size as your artwork, bleed included.
- Use solid 100% black (C0 M0 Y0 K100) for foil and white for no foil. No shadows, glows or grayscale.
- Create the mask as vector art in Illustrator or a similar program.
- Avoid knockouts, meaning artwork that has to fit exactly inside or around the foil. The foil can shift up to 1/16" when it's applied, so tight fits won't line up.
