How do I set up artwork for offset envelopes?

Offset envelopes are printed flat and then cut and folded, so the artwork moves a little during that process. To allow for it:

• Add 1/16" of overbleed and let the color wrap onto the back of the envelope.
• If your design bleeds on the face or prints on any flap, place it on our envelope template.
• Solid full-color envelopes work best, and extending the flap color slightly onto the face hides small shifts.
• Use gradients for smooth transitions instead of hard color edges near folds.
