Can I have artwork or text under the foil?

We recommend a solid color behind the foil, not artwork or text. Foil is thin enough that what's printed underneath can show through and look like a smudge.

Since foil can shift up to 1/16" when it's applied, a plain solid area under and around it also hides any small movement.
